.. and near perfect film making. Why does every major fictional story that starts off so light end up so dark? Sorry, rhetorical question. The answer is that we live a polar world, light and dark, night and day, positive and negative. So this may well be the last episode in the series which is both exhilarating and innocent.Especially if you compare it to the last two in the series, which I suggest you do not do because you will lose your lunch. The cinematography does not get better. In the winter scenes you can feel the chill and in the flying scenes you get airsick. And the story includes a "time loop" twist which is handled so perfectly that you want to see the film a second or third time to make sure you got it all.Wow.

This is one of my favourites of the franchise because I love Sirius Black and time travelling. Harry Potter's universe was still full of surprises at this point and the films never failed to impress. I also noticed a better soundtrack as well - not that it wasn't already pretty good in the previous ones, I just liked this one better. Oh, and RIP Richard Harris (this is the first one with Michael Gambon).

This is a very great film. The dementors are great in it. The twist that Sirius Black is Harrys Godfather and he was framed was very emotional. Professor Lupin is my favourite Defense against the dark arts teacher. It gives off proper horror vibes which I love. The twist that worm tail was scabbers, Ron's rat, I was not expecting.
